Ynys LLandwyn, Anglesey where the film was shot is home to the Welsh patron saint of lovers and a religious site.

Special care was needed in respect of this sacred location during the construction of a jetty into a delicate Marine area and the alteration of the lighthouse by CADW (the Welsh historic buildings organisation).

To get the crew and vehicles to the island, special metal decking had to be laid which had to be firmly anchored against the tide.
